Info

Morning Drop-off: Brooklake’s staff is on duty and ready to supervise your children at 8:15 am! When the weather is nice outside, students will be supervised on the school playground until the bell rings for line-up at 8:25. A second bell will ring at 8:30 and staff members will lead students inside the building. On inclement weather days, morning supervision will take place inside the gym. Students will be notified of indoor supervision by lights being on in the gym and orange cones being placed on the playground. Please note however, that you are advised to not drop off students prior to 8:15 am, as teachers will not be available for supervision.

Afternoon dismissal: Student dismissal is at 3:00 pm. All students who ride the bus will be dismissed through the gymnasium at the end of the day. All other students may be picked up in the front of the school. When picking up students, please do not park in fire lanes and be aware of any students who may be walking home! Staff members are outside for supervision at this time.
Please note that the building is closed to the public, with the exception of anyone involved in a Board of Education sponsored event, picking up a child from after-care, or meeting with the principal, at 4:45.

After-care: After-care is provided by an outside organization, the Work-Family connection. For more information, please see www.theworkfamilyconnection.org and click on the link to Florham Park. When picking up students from after care, please be advised that you will only be allowed to pick-up your children through the designated pickup doors.

Visitors during the school day: For the safety of all our students, staff, and faculty, we insist that all visitors report to the main office as soon as they enter the building. At that time they must sign in and we will issue them a visitors pass. Absent of finding the principal and/or the administrative secretary they will not be allowed in the building and/or classrooms.
